Yes, you will be automatically notified if a product goes out of stock. Here is exactly what happens when a stockout occurs:
Email Notifications: If a product you have actively designed goes out of stock, we will immediately send an alert to the email address associated with your Selfnamed account.
Automatic Archiving: To protect your brand and prevent unfulfillable orders, our system will automatically archive the out-of-stock product within the Selfnamed platform.
What you need to do:
When you receive a stockout email, we highly recommend immediately hiding or marking that specific product as "Out of Stock" on your own connected storefront (Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, or Wix). This prevents your customers from purchasing an item we temporarily cannot fulfill.
To manage stockouts automatically for your dropshipping store, we recommend setting up stock sync. Once you do it, products on your store will have real-time stock availability statuses. To set this up, you need to adjust your settings on Selfnamed:
Go to your Profile.
Find the tab called “Stock sync”.
Pick a fulfillment region you want to sync stock status with and press “Save”.

Once the item is back in stock at our facility, you will be able to restore it (it will restore automatically if you set up stock sync) and resume sales!
