Integrate Squarespace with Selfnamed!

You can connect your Squarespace store to Selfnamed and start selling your branded products with just a few simple steps!

Please follow the steps below, for the Squarespace Dropshipping service integration!

Go to your Selfnamed account and log in with your credentials.

You will be taken to your Selfnamed profile. To start the integration, you need to add your store! Click on My Stores

In My Stores, find the Squarespace option and click “Connect Now” to start the integration.

Before the integration, you must accept the dropshipping terms of service!

Now select which Squarespace website you want to connect and approve the connection by selecting “Allow.”

You’ll then be redirected back to Selfnamed while your store is now securely connected! 🎉

If you have multiple Squarespace websites under one account, no problem!

Each one will appear as a separate store inside your Selfnamed “My Stores” section, and you can manage them all individually.

Before you can start selling, you’ll need to add your billing information. This is the important part! For every order that’s being dropshipped, you’ll be responsible for covering the cost of the products included and the shipping.

Go to My Profile → Billing in your Selfnamed dashboard. Then click “Add Billing Method.”

Before you enter your billing info, you’ll need to enter the name of the billing method and choose the shop you’d like to apply the billing method to.

Now enter your billing details. When done, press “Continue.”

Now you’ll be asked to select preferred payment currency and enter your payment card details. After filling those in, select “Save details.”

Once your payment method is saved, you’re ready to go!

In the billing section of your profile, you'll be able to see the added billing method for your Squarespace shop.

This is the fun part: adding your custom products to Squarespace!

You can either:

Go to My Products or Product Catalog.

Choose a product and create your design (or pick one you’ve already made).

When your design is ready, add it to your store by clicking “Continue.”

Next, you’ll need to select the specific Squarespace website where the product should be added.

Now you should be taken to the Product Details section. In this view, make sure you fill in:

Note: Adding this information here will automatically populate it on the SQSP side. You can adjust it later in Squarespace, but this step helps pre-fill the product info for the store.

Then select which Squarespace store to sync to.

Now it’s time to pick your mockup images! These will appear as product photos on your Squarespace store.

After selecting the right images, click “Continue.”

Congratulations! Your product will now be synced and published directly on your Squarespace site! You can find it in your Squarespace store dashboard, ready to sell. 🎉

Want to refresh your design or update images? You can do that anytime!

First, go to My Stores or My Products on Selfnamed. Then find the product you want to update and click “Customize.”

Now you can get creative and edit your product packaging. Try on different styles, edit text, add shapes, and more. Also, you can switch between editing the label and packaging design.

Once you’re satisfied with your design, click “Save.”

Once you’ve updated the design, it’s time to pick the new product images you want to appear on your Squarespace product page.

As you add new images, existing ones won’t be overwritten, so you stay in full control!

And when satisfied with your choice, click “Continue.”

Click Sync to Squarespace to update your product. The new design and mockups will appear in your Squarespace store automatically.

Here’s how orders are handled once your products are live.

When a customer buys a product on your Squarespace store, the order automatically appears in your Selfnamed “Orders” section.

Once Selfnamed receives the order:

The system verifies that all required customer details (full shipping address, phone number, and email) are provided. This information is essential for courier delivery.

To ensure smooth processing, you need to configure your Squarespace store checkout settings so that these fields (address, phone, and email) are marked as mandatory

Before the first fulfillment, each new product design goes through a Design Validation step, where the design is checked and approved. Once a design has been validated, it will be automatically approved for all future orders using the same design.

If everything looks good, the order moves straight to fulfillment.

When shipped, a “Fulfilled” status and tracking ID are sent back to Squarespace automatically.

If some details are missing, the order may be placed on hold until corrected.

If payment isn’t processed in time, it may be canceled.

Please note: Canceling an order in Squarespace does not automatically cancel it on the Selfnamed side, as orders are immediately sent to fulfillment once received by Selfnamed.

If you need to cancel an order after it has reached Selfnamed or have any urgent issues, please contact Selfnamed support directly.

Need to disconnect your Squarespace store? Here’s how to do it.

First, go to My Stores. There, you’ll see an option to remove the store.

Then click on the store you want to remove.

By clicking “Remove Store,” you’ll be asked to confirm your choice and the store will be automatically disconnected.
