My customer placed an order, but it shows "order error" status on Selfnamed. What should I do?

This can happen occasionally, which is why we recommend checking order statuses periodically, even though orders come through automatically without manual action from your side.

Two Common Error Types

There are two main errors you might see in the order status:

Error 1: "Please complete your personal details in account settings"

This means you (as a Selfnamed customer) haven't completed your personal information.

To fix this:

  1. Go to your Selfnamed account

  2. Click on your Profile

  3. Complete all required personal information fields

4. Save your changes

Error 2: "Receiver's shipping information is missing"

This happens when your customer's shipping information is incomplete. This could include missing details like full name, email, address, or phone number.

To fix this:

  1. Click "Edit details" on the order

  2. Add the necessary missing information

  3. Click Save

Automatic Resolution

In both cases, once you've corrected the information, the order status will automatically update and the error will disappear. The order will then move forward in the fulfillment process.
