I haven't added a billing method yet, but received an order through Squarespace. What should I do?

If you receive an order before adding a billing method, you'll need to add your payment details to process the order.

Why This Matters

You need to add a billing method in order for Selfnamed to process your customer's order. Without a billing method on file, Selfnamed can't charge you for the product and shipping costs, which means the order will show as "error" status on Selfnamed and won't be fulfilled.

What You Should Do

  1. Go to My Profile > Billing in your Selfnamed dashboard

  2. Click "Add Billing Method"

  3. Enter your billing details and save

Best Practice

Always set up your billing method before you start selling on your Squarespace store. This ensures all incoming orders can be processed smoothly without delays or errors.
